Exciting news for American football fans! The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets will play in the league’s first-ever Black Friday game. The highly anticipated game is scheduled at MetLife Stadium on November 24th at 3 p.m ET.
Amazon, which owns the exclusive streaming rights to the game, will offer free access to all fans worldwide through the Prime Video platform. It’s an amazing opportunity for football enthusiasts to watch this AFC East showdown, and it’s even better that nobody has to pay a penny!
Amazon Announces Black Friday NFL game
In a statement, the Vice President of Global Sports Video for Amazon, Marie Donoghue, expressed her excitement on the upcoming competition. She said, “We’re thrilled to offer another way to delight Amazon customers and give all fans free access to this AFC East showdown. On one of the biggest shopping days of the year, we’re excited to be the home of the first-ever NFL Black Friday game, and what better way to kick off this new tradition than with a rivalry matchup between the Dolphins and the Jets?”
Football followers around the world can’t wait to watch this historic game. We don’t know the entire NFL schedule yet, but with quarterback Aaron Rodgers joining the Jets, they’re sure to be one of the league’s hottest prime-time draws.
The New York-based Jets and Miami’s Dolphins have a long-standing rivalry dating back to 1966. They’ve played each other, split on home turf last season, and the Dolphins currently trail Jets 57-56-1 in the all-time regular season series.
