Was The Trade Worth It for The Jets?

One of the noteworthy facets of this deal is that while it is indeed costly for the Jets, considering Rodgers is 39 and was openly contemplating retirement just a few weeks ago, it is still considered a bargain if it results in their first Super Bowl appearance, or indeed even better, since 1968. The 2024 conditional pick will upgrade to a first-round pick if Rodgers plays 65 percent or more of the snaps this season.
