Yodny Cajuste Joins The Jets
May 30, 2023Jets Linked to Pro Bowler Yannick Ngakoue
June 5, 2023The Jets’ running back Breece Hall is making good progress in his recovery from the ACL injury he sustained back in October, which cost him the final ten games of the regular season. It was a setback that also meant he missed his chance of being awarded Offensive Rookie of the Year, which ultimately went to his teammate Garrett Wilson.
However, the good news is that his rehabilitation program is going exceptionally well, as he recently reported. Hall shared that he is glad to be back on the field, running, and participating in drills again, feeling more like his old self, and making steady progress.
With reports from the head coach, Robert Saleh, echoing this good news, we can safely say that all indications point to Hall being on track for an excellent recovery. According to Saleh, Hall is one of those players that the Jets had to kind of hold back because of the need to balance the healing process with strength building. He added that Hall looks strong, powerful, and has been a quick learner, which is a promising sign.
Saleh also expressed that he is excited for Hall to be back on the field, and believes that he won’t need to be limited during the training camp, even with the coaching staff being conscientious and cautious with him.
Breece Hall is being very patient with his recovery and seems to have the right mindset to bounce back stronger. He is taking it a week at a time and listening to his body, aiming to do what is necessary to complete his rehab successfully. Despite being faced with a significant challenge, it is inspiring to see how he has been reaching out to other top running backs, including Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey, for guidance and support.
It’s safe to say that getting Hall back to full fitness is high on the priority list for the Jets this season, and seeing him on the field would undeniably be a boost for the team. With Aaron Rodgers leading the offense, the combination of his explosiveness, agility, and versatility could lead to some explosive outputs this season, a prospect that has the entire team and fans excited.
