May 15, 2023When it comes to Breece Hall’s promising rookie year, he was well on his way before a devastating ACL tear last October. However, the outlook for his recovery looks increasingly positive as he works hard to get back in the game. In fact, General Manager Joe Douglas is optimistic about Hall’s chances of being ready for Week One, despite acknowledging there are still a lot of hurdles to overcome.
During a recent interview on #PFTPM, Douglas was asked about the possibility of Hall being able to play when the Jets host the Bills to kick off the 2023 season. The answer: “Look, I think we’re all hopeful that that could be a possibility,” Douglas replied.
“He’s in a great place right now. I would say he’s ahead of schedule from where he’s supposed to be and he’s hitting unbelievable top-end speeds already on our GPS and his rehab.” Douglas went on to warn that they will need to do a good job of protecting Hall against himself a bit as he is so motivated and determined to return to the field.
As the Jets prepare for the upcoming season, they are understandably excited about the prospect of having Hall back in the game. The impact of Breece Hall’s potential return from this ACL injury would be a huge boost for the Jets. Incorporating him into an already potent offense, together with the likes of Aaron Rodgers, they are sure to be a dominant force. Despite the Jets’ competitiveness without Hall, his presence on the field would only serve to make them stronger and more formidable.
