Aaron Rodgers To Attend Voluntary OTA’s?
April 26, 2023Jets Select Will McDonald 15th Overall
April 28, 2023During his introductory press conference as a new acquisition of the Jets on Wednesday afternoon, quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear that his focus was solely on the upcoming season when asked about playing beyond 2023. However, things took a different turn in a meeting with beat reporters after the press conference had ended. Rodgers revealed that he sees himself as a long-term player, committed to his time with the Jets beyond the 2023 limit.
“This isn’t a one-and-done in my mind. This is a commitment,” said Aaron, as reported by Zack Rosenblatt of TheAthletic.com.

It is still a little too early to predict what the 2024 plans for Rodgers and the Jets will look like, given that Rodgers has not yet taken a snap with the team. However, with the prospect of the quarterback leading the Jets offense for a few years, it is likely that the price paid for his transfer will seem more palatable to fans in the long run.
Can Rodgers Return To MVP Form?
The prospect of a 40 year old Aaron playing at an MVP level is a bit of a stretch. Last year was his worst year by far. However, his stats would rank 5th all time for Jets quarterbacks. Its truly been hard times since Joe Namath left.
